Summary:

The American Institute of Physics (AIP) is seeking a SPS Programs Coordinator for the Society of Physics Students (SPS). The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, be highly organized, and have a passion for helping students. The Coordinator will work as an essential member of the SPS-Sigma Pi Sigma team to plan and carry out special projects that range from broad-reaching public outreach events, to SPS chapter and member development, to educational programs to be presented in a variety of venues such as professional conferences, meetings, and departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (in physics or physical science area highly preferred)
  • 2 years’ experience with Society of Physics Students preferred
