Summary:

It is an exciting time to join the American Institute of Physics (AIP) as we develop our new AIP Foundation. We seek an engaging and detail-orientated Development Coordinator II to join our fundraising team. The ideal candidate will be customer-centric and team-oriented, with fundraising or other CRM database management experience (we use Raiser’s Edge NXT).

In addition to responding to inquiries and requests from donors and friends of AIP, this position will also focus on:

  • Accurate record-keeping of donor information including charitable gift recording.
  • Maintaining the day-to-day integrity, accuracy, and oversight of the development database of record
  • Set high internal customer service standards working in partnership with other AIP departments, programs, and fellow members of the development team
  • Prepare for and implement internal and external meetings and events

 

Good-natured candidates who possess strong aptitude and problem-solving skills, as well as an interest in learning and growing within an advancement team are strongly encouraged to apply.

*This role is currently 100% remote and will eventually switch back to our office environment as the Institute continues to respond to the coronavirus, government mandates and considers the best action to keep the AIP staff safe.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years non-profit fundraising database management (Raisers Edge experience highly preferred), relationship management.
  • High-level proficiency with Office 365.
