Summary

The American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant who will be responsible for supporting the general ledger function through the monthly closing. This includes reconciling monthly bank and investment accounts, assisting with the preparation of financial statements, verifying receipt and disbursement entries, and preparing supporting schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited institution.
• High-level proficiency with creating and manipulating Excel spreadsheets and utilizing other Microsoft Office products.
• Multi-tasking skills to meet the high demands and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• A minimum of two years relevant work experience in finance or accounting.
• Great Plains and BI360 experience a plus.
• Ability to travel both internationally and domestically as needed for the Association.
