SUMMARY:

AIP is looking for a HR Senior Specialist, Talent Management to join the Institute’s Talent & Culture Team.

In this role, you will work closely with our Talent & Culture Officer to support workforce planning by assisting in analyzing, forecasting, and planning workforce supply and demand. You'll help identify gaps and contribute to targeted talent management solutions. Under the guidance of our TCO, you will assist in designing and facilitating engaging training and development programs for employees and leadership. Your collaboration with managers will help enhance their coaching skills, fostering effective two-way conversations that focus on strengths, accountabilities, and growth. 

Your responsibilities will also include managing employee relations, handling inquiries, assisting with investigations, addressing grievances, and resolving staff and operational issues. You'll maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with employment laws, affirmative action, benefits, insurance, safety regulations, and other requirements, partnering with the TCO to support performance management objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Talent Management:

  • In partnership with the Talent & Culture Officer, manage the processes of workforce planning in the areas of analyzing, forecasting, and planning workforce supply and demand, assessing gaps, and determining target talent management interventions.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding process and practices, providing expertise, ensuring adherence to best practices, and coaching the managers on best practices.

Learning and Development:

  • Under the guidance of the TCO, help lead the effort in designing learning paths and facilitating training and development programs for employees and leadership.
  • Collaborate with managers to enhance coaching skills to support improved two-way conversations that provide feedback, focus on strengths and accountabilities, and are forward-looking.
Employee Relations:
  • Manage employee relations issues including inquiries, investigations, grievances, and resolution of staff and operational issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Partner with TCO to ensure performance management program meets its objectives.

Workplace Inclusivity:

  • Lead evaluation of inclusivity efforts, managing initiatives that promote inclusivity across AIP and throughout the employee life cycle.
  • Serve as the Culture Committee Lead and oversee interest & engagement groups.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree in HR or a related field is preferred.
  • 8+ years of HR experience with a focus on learning & development, workforce planning, employee relations, and full cycle recruiting
  • Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating organization-wide programs, trainings, and policies to support workforce development.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Learning is a plus.
  • Certifications in HR are a plus.

COMPENSATION: $89,280.00 – $98,208.00
